If taking a few moments to declutter your space in the morning feels super stressful – it doesn’t have to be! At the end of your work day you deserve to come home to a clean and organized oasis. We’re sharing three super simple tips to keep your home in shape that take no time at all!
1. make your bed
A quick and effective way to give your bedroom a dramatically cleaner look is to simply make your bed upon waking. Nothing is more welcoming than a tidy bed. It shows that you care about your space and you respect it. Having already accomplished an organizing task first thing in the morning really sets the tone for the day!
2. use your laundry hamper
If you don’t have a laundry hamper consider investing in one. It doesn’t need to be fancy or expensive. Designating a home for your dirty laundry is vital if you want to avoid “the pile” on your bed or accent chair. Containing your dirties in one place gives any space an instant refresh.
3. wash your dishes
Avoid having your kitchen sink pile up with dishes that will be waiting for you when you get home. Keeping your sink clear will relieve your stress and make cooking dinner more enjoyable. We suggest taking 5-10 minutes in the morning and the evening to tidy up your sink area.
