The 6 Best Shops to Elevate the Everyday

While I do practice minimalism, purchasing items are inevitable. Therefore, I choose to purchase beautiful and conscious items that elevate the everyday. These items are made ethically and sustainably, and are things that I actually want and need, instead of impulsively buying. I firmly believe that when you invest in the items you bring into your space, you’re more likely to take care of it and treat it with respect. As a return, you’ll find yourself buying less and saving yourself more money in the long run. Your home should be a place you return to, to find beauty, inspiration, and calmness. With that said, I wanted to share with you my favorite stores that help me create the home I’ve always wanted.

food 52

If you follow me on Instagram, or took a peek at my products page, you know that I love this French Ceramic Butter Keeper from Food52. Not only is it handmade, but it keeps your butter soft and spreadable—all you have to do is add a little water at the base! In addition, the beautiful color is a great neutral to add to any countertop.

mur lifestyle

Mur Lifestyle is a store that really gets it. They master the correlation between beautiful and conscious items that are very swoon-worthy. I love these hangers from their shop; the natural wood is a great element to enforce relaxation into a space, while the brass hook is a gorgeous upgrade to add a little glam to any closet.

Hawkins New york

I love these minimal storage ladders from Hawkins New York. These are great to store magazines, towels, or linens. I prefer to use this in my bathroom for towels and special, textured linens to add a functional and decorative element to the space.

Wild Minimalist

For all things sustainable, my go-to shop is Wild Minimalist. Their work ethic around a zero-waste lifestyle is incredible. One of my favorite items from them are these Bees Wrap Beeswax Cloths. They’re a great alternative to plastic wrap and an even prettier wrapping choice to preserve my food.

parachute home

I love streamlining my linens to an all-white bedding for a minimal and clean look. My favorite bedding comes from none other than Parachute Home. Their bedding is made sustainably with organic materials and doesn’t consist of harsh chemicals, that can be found in most bed sheets.

connected goods

Connected Goods Palm Leaf Shopper

I’ll say it over and over again. Connected Goods is my FAVORITE home goods site. Everything is handcrafted beautifully and is made with quality and purpose. This shopper takes me everywhere, from breath work classes, to the farmers market and carrying my dog, Frankie, around! Definitely no buyer’s remorse here.
