Quick Tip: Maximize Your Entryway

Not everyone has an enormous grand foyer, perfect for dramatic entrances. Fortunately, you don’t need one to make a beautiful entryway for your home anyway. Today’s quick tip is a simple way to make the most of what you have!

Find a big mirror that you love. Ideally, it should match your existing décor – or you can use it to base a new design around. It can be brass, silver, whatever you love most. Position it near your door, making sure to stay clear of the wall immediately behind where the door swings – you don’t want seven years of bad luck everyt ime you fly through the doorway in a rush.
A big mirror obviously makes any room seem bigger, but the nice thing about this particular case is that if you have any nearby windows, you can give an instant facelift to your hallway with a flood of light. It’s also convenient as a place to stop and check yourself before you leave-or to leave positive affirmations for the day. If you pair the mirror with a simple table and bowl for keys (never lose them again!), the space will be complete. Just make sure you don’t overwhelm a tiny space – that will make it feel even smaller!

Good luck, and let us know how it worked for you!
